Three years in the past, had someone said Dallas can be the following big thing in Texas coffee, they’d have most definitely been checked out with a raised eyebrow. When you assume Texas espresso, Austin, Houston and San Antonio most naturally come to mind.
Our different All-American was kicker Tony Franklin. Such was our offensive prowess within the mid-70’s under Coordinator Tom Wilson, Tony remained Texas A&M’s profession leading scorer for 19 years after he’d completed faculty. The Wishbone of ours seemingly set new college data each outing, both in scoring, speeding or whole offense. One speeding file nonetheless stands at this time after 38 years; 606 yards gained vs. TCU in 1977. I don’t see that one being broken anytime quickly. The opposite was 1977’s college report 300 yards rushing per sport that lasted thirteen years, and 38 years later nonetheless ranks second.

It was a morning like some other morning. Or so it appeared. The climate was excellent in Orlando that day; October 25, 1999. I used to be in my office at SunJet Aviation, when considered one of my pilots, Captain Michael Kling, a retired United States Air Drive Main, got here in and sat down. We had a cup of coffee and he advised me of his upcoming flight to Haiti. When he was off responsibility, he would fly an enormous ole rickety cargo plane full of medicine, garments and food, professional bono, for a Christian mission he was concerned in. But as we speak, Captain Kling was to choose up an everyday client of ours 12 minutes away at the Orlando International Airport, and take them to Dallas in one of the Learjet 35s we operated. The shopper was Leader Enterprises, an Orlando sports activities company.
For about three weeks now, I’ve had nothing but trouble connecting to web sites. One minute, everything connected good and quick. The following minute, it was sluggish. A couple of minutes later, I had no entry in anyway. The signal was dropping, and/or there were a number of dropped packets.
